Pick one of two
Each round two shapes are revealed — pick one and place it anywhere on your board. Shapes can be rotated and flipped.
Two shapes, one board and an endless “just one more”. Fill the 9×9 board with colorful shapes, take the Daily Challenge and play with friends — even offline.
Two shapes are revealed. You pick one and place it on your board. Then two more. And two more…
Each round two shapes are revealed — pick one and place it anywhere on your board. Shapes can be rotated and flipped.
If neither shape fits, take one more chance: an extra shape just for you.
Fewest empty cells wins. A perfect board is the ultimate goal!
Everyone has a 9×9 board. The goal is to leave as few empty cells as possible.
Each player gets a random starting shape and draws it so that it covers the center dot.
Every round two shapes are revealed. Each player picks one of them and places it anywhere on their own board. Shapes can be rotated and flipped and don't have to touch other shapes.
The game has 40 shapes of 1 to 7 cells, plus 10 starting shapes of 8 cells. The “All shapes” button shows them all; with “Mark played shapes” (Premium) on, it also shows which ones have already been played.
If neither shape fits, you take one more chance: one more shape just for you. If it fits, place it and keep playing. If it doesn't, you are out — but your board still counts. Playing alone and in the daily challenge, you get one chance per game.
Before a game with friends, choose how many chances each player gets.
0: if neither shape fits, you are out at once.
1, 2 or 3: if a chance shape doesn't fit, you take the next one while chances are left.
∞, the classic rule: a chance every time neither shape fits, but if the chance shape doesn't fit, you are out.
Without Premium: 1.
The game ends when fewer than two shapes are left for a new round, when everyone is out, or at once when someone fills their whole board.
Fewest empty cells wins. On a tie, alone and in the daily challenge the faster game wins (the clock runs only while the game is on screen); with friends time doesn't count. Then whoever used fewer shapes, not counting the starting one. If that is equal too, the win is shared.
One phone: pass it around — each player takes their turn on their own board with the same two shapes.
Several phones: Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi, no internet needed, everyone moves at the same time.
Up to 6 players; without Premium, 2 (on several phones, it depends on who creates the game).
Whoever leaves or stays disconnected too long is out, but their board still counts; if the game's creator leaves, the game ends for everyone.
With friends you can limit each move to 30, 60 or 90 seconds (with Premium). When time runs out, the move is made for you: the chosen shape goes where it stands or into the first free spot, and if nothing fits, a chance is taken.
One game a day, with the same shapes for everyone. One chance, and time counts. Play every day to keep your streak going. Past challenges can be replayed in the archive for golden cubes; they don't count toward the streak.
The game's real shapes and rules. A game takes a few minutes.
